Progress so far… website and WIP

Patagonia is in the 21 sheet planning phase. (I sometimes miss my old job division where I stood in one spot for hours and could plan out entire books by necessity). Despite still being in the planning stages, I’ve written I think 7,000 words in it.

Website – trying to pick one or two posts a day to edit. Can only find time to do this on my days off, so slow going. Will eventually get all 600 posts done. I just don’t have a good SEO workflow, so by the time I’m done formatting a blog post, I’m done with it and just want to publish. I may have to do all posts two weeks out and then do the SEO on different days.

Still editing click to tweets – they finally got it working again! After two years of not working. Just glad.

Trying to add captions, images and quotes to all my posts. It just takes lots and lots of work.

Twitter/Recurpost – I need to take a day and fill it completely up with scheduled content, so I don’t have to mess with it for at least a week.

Star Trek – editing like mad. The ProWritingAid program helps a LOT – I can edit very quickly. The problem is, sometimes there’s no other way to say something! I just can’t get ProWritingAid to accept that. There are a lot of classic Star Trek phrases that are passive voice. Sorry, there it is.

Countdown – I need tonight to spreadsheet it and see where the latest revision puts it. Should be contacting cover artists this summer. Goal again is to have it ready for sale by Black Friday. If you want to beta read, this would be the time to contact me.
