Okay, there’s not too many occupations that are more unhealthy than being a professional writer.

Think of it. You’re sitting still for long periods of time.

Well, if you want to live long enough to have a good long writing career, you need to go do something physical.

What it is – that’s up to you.

Golf.

Tennis.

Kayaking.

Swimming.

Jogging.

Karate.

Aikido.

When I was a kid, we couldn’t wait to get outside and run around.

I’m not a mountain climber, skier, or water ski nut. I do martial arts for exercise. Whatever it is that appeals to you, get up and do it, so that you can live a longer, healthier life.

I’m tired of seeing people younger than me struggling with the news that they’re not going to live much longer because of poor health and diet.
