Examples of Behind The Scenes work

There’s ten billion things I have to do on the website. I just went through my tags today to remove old tags not in use any more, and next is going through all 600 posts to add tags.

Then, since “tweet this” is working again after a three year hiatus, I have to fix all the old posts that had it, and go back and add them to all 600 posts.

Some posts I wrote in a hurry, so they need updating.

Some posts never got a featured image.

Some were written a long time ago, and feature less effective methods of communication, so they’re too wordy and need tightening up.

Almost all of my posts require SEO optimization and tagging, which means I need to stop procrastinating and take the free Yoast SEO training. Like, this week.

Each one of those steps require going through over 600 posts.

And probably about 25 posts need removal, since they were written in the early “get content online no matter what it is” stage when I was jammed to the gills with writing assignments, including writing a prospective miniseries for HBO (that’s still a viable project, I’d love to see something happen with it).

So… there you go.
