Best Writing Software – really

Still muttering about, poking at my new-ish Dell G7 15 laptop. I like the incredible power that makes all writing easy. I like how I can multi-task. I like my new Dell hub that lets me plug in extra monitors and stuff like that.

I still have a sneaking suspicion that there’s some writing software out there even better than Scrivener.

I still haven’t found it. In some ways, I find my self constantly trying things out and… I keep going back to Scrivener. The different writing interfaces I try inspire me to keep writing and that’s a good thing.

But I keep going back to Scrivener.

Didn’t like Novel Factory. At all. Not a fan of Smart Edit Writer. Loved yWriter, but found myself needing better story tools. Liquid Story Binder is good, but not a fan of the REALLY high learning curve, and should be $19.95 not $45. Writeway is good. Final Draft amazing, but it’s only for Screenplays.

I guess I’ve tried everything. And Scrivener is the best.

I’m going to keep looking!
