I’m Nicholas Reicher. I’m a professional writer/screenplay writer/novelist/blogger. I’m here to write your next blockbuster novel or movie script – quickly, on budget and emotionally satisfying.

Writing. The bottom line of what you’re looking for is someone who can write well, write quickly, and present a story that provides an emotional experience. When readers or movie watchers have an emotional experience when reading or watching, they want to experience it again… and again. That sells tickets. That sells books. So my job is to provide you with books or scripts that create that emotional experience. It’s fulfilling to me as a writer to be able to hear people say they cried reading something I wrote, to hear them say they couldn’t put it down, they loved it. To have someone say that something I wrote was a “Thrill ride” tells me that I’ve done my job as a writer, and makes me content. That’s what I can do for your publishing company, production company or studio.

The other point to know here is that I can write a full length feature film script in less than a month. My record stands at 21 days for a 120 page script – and I’m still looking to top that! If you’re interested in my re-writing a stalled project, you don’t have months and months to wait for me to get it done!

About me: I grew up in Newport, Rhode Island – the right place to grow up if you want a writer’s atmosphere. My dad was special forces in Vietnam (SOG). I sold my first movie script to a startup movie company in 1985 at the age of 21 – unfortunately they weren’t able to get the funding to take it all the way into production. I’ve used my fiction to challenge out of college classes.

My Goals. My goals are to write for a living – novels and movie scripts, so that I can retire from my day job and move back to Rhode Island (moral of the story – never leave the Ocean State once you move there). And I’m going to build a whopping HO Scale railroad in my basement when I get there!

My Blog/Website. In addition to work related writing on my website, I like to:

  • Share a glimpse into the professional life of a writer for the reading public. If you like my novels, you should be able to know something of the inside process in writing them!
  • Share sample fiction and screen excerpts, as well as deleted scenes that never made it to the final novel.
  • See the inside story of a screenwriter for the movie watching public
blog little things from time to time about funny things that happen to me (usually involving my cats)
  • And encourage other writers on how to get started and get their novel written

At this time, my goals are to post Sunday through Friday, usually around 8 AM. Depending upon my writing schedule, I may have to adjust this downwards.

I’m just starting out. I’m not unproven – I’ve sold work before, and I include samples of my work on this website, so you can see what you’re getting. But I’m not going to stay starting out for long. Someone’s going to take a chance on me, and I will have gone from a potential screenwriter to a competitor’s screenwriter. This is your chance to try to get a working relationship going and get in on the ground floor! But that chance won’t last forever.

Additional Skills: I can serve as a martial Arts coordinator to your feature film, train your actors who to do simple martial arts skills, make fight scenes more realistic and more jaw-dropping. I also have a lot of experience with firearms, and can train your actors to use weapons, rifles and pistols (and make the audience believe they really know how to shoot!).

Nicholas ReicherI’m a novelist/Author, currently working on a Drama/Action series. I’m estimating it to be about 10 separate novels, all part of the series. My writing is cinematic – I try to get you to see exactly what is going on in the story!

I’m hoping to have the first volume published in a few months. Stay tuned!
